Fishing in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship
Catch a big pike in Masuria, Poland!
Masuria: For the love of nature. A true paradise for fishermen. The Masurian Lake District extends from Lake Mauersee (Polish: Mamry, Prussian: Maurow) to Lake Spirdingsee (Śniardwy) and covers an area of more than 600 km². Masuria: definitely worth a visit for anglers and nature lovers!
Attention anglers in Masuria! Shoals in the lakes of Masuria can cause difficulties for boats, as they often reach right under the water surface. For anglers, these small and large underwater mountains near break-off edges are of course particularly attractive. Amateur sailors and local fishermen have often marked these shallow spots with plastic bottles as a warning, so to speak.
